So, you
selected Friends Link.....
Looks like
you are probably one of my friend and wanted to check the page for your
name. If you find your name, then let me disclaim. You should read at your
own risk. The page contains phrases which might be uneasy for some. Remember
any references or materials on this page cannot be held against me in the
court of law. :-)
Now
talking about
FRIENDS. What should I say about them. For me they were always there
whenever........I never needed them. When I needed them they were undergrounded. After all someone has rightly said
"A friend is never
truly a friend unless he stabs you in the back". These friends who all
are listed here are not the only friends I had, But a few of those are
my oldest and few are the ones who are more of timepass for me. (Read
about Gurdeep
)
ADITYA
Aditya, one of
my oldest friend. Intelligent, Smart and Sharp. He was the only one
who had PC, and thus he was inspirational in my selecting Computers as
a career option. We were together in a class till 10th, after
which he migrated to another school. Good at studies, he choose
Economics as his career and was graduated from Hindu College of Delhi
University. His hardwork paid dividends when he made it through JNU,
and did his Post-graduation in MA (Eco). At present, he is working as
a Data Analyst in one the top BPO and MIS company of the country.
Another one who has now been married and is enjoying his success as
Data Analyst.

ANUP
Anup, a nice friend of mine.
Friendship with him was more because of similarity of hobbies and
interests then anything else. Like me, he too is a game freak. Has
been playing video games since childhood and now interested in pure
hardcore 3-D action. Nowadays he is quite happy as he has just
completed one of the best games ever (Grand Theft Auto-III) and has
moved on to the next version of the game VICE CITY. He is also
interested in movies and possesses a huge collection of VCD's. But all
his movies generate one time interest ONLY. Currently he is
working as IT specialist with IBM Global Services. He has been married
from the last time I updated this section of my blog.

HARPAL
Harpal, alias Harry, that is how I know him. No, don't get the
impression that Harpal puts up in States and probably that is how he's got his petname changed to Harry. He is a
native jatt sardar and speaks
with pure punjabi accent. He is a typical muscular and strong Sardar
with a nice sense of humor. His sense of humor is at its best
when females are around,........Not around him, but around somebody
else. Good at heart, he is currently employed as IT Specialist with
IBM Global Services.

MONU (MANMEET)
Monu, another Sardar
friend and another one of the oldest friend. So old that after I
met him, for next couple of years I didn't knew of his First Name.
Enjoys sports, loves cricket. Good batsman and horrible bowler. Not to mention that
his bowling action was more inspired by cricketer Paul Adams of South
Africa. Terrific in Badminton, but he still remembers the day when the
first and only time he was beaten by me. He's truly is a
' A friend in need is a
friend indeed. 'He
has always been available whenever I wanted any help. Not to mention
that I too had been available for him,..........does not matter for me
if it was on reciprocal basis. As mentioned in my home page, it was
motivation from him, that this site is up (And probably that is why I
am supposed to mention all good things about him...Isn't it !!!!!!!).
In academics, his qualifications are satisfactory, if not good. He is
a Computer Engineer (but he has literally forgot he actually
is........!), Is a certified JAVA Professional (JCP) and JAVA
Certified Developer (JCD). He instead of being unemployed and running
pillar to post for a job and getting employed and paid by somebody
else, started his own Web Solutions Venture (www.emantrasolutions.com),
and employs other unemployed youth.

GURDEEP
Gurdeep,
another friend of mine who is a Sardar (You might be thinking what am
I doing between all these Sardar's...). He is a great fan of Umer
Sharif (Pakistani Stage artist) like me, and ocassionally tries to
emulate him. Had he not been a Printer Expert he would have certainly
made it to theatres and competed with likes of Umer Sharif, Johny
Lever and Shekhar Suman.
He is not a typical Sardar, He is lean. short and so thin that he
appears a thick bamboo stick from a distance. Just recently married,
he remains jolly most of the time. Like a true "Zoru ka Gulam" he
comes in late in the office and leaves early. He celebrated his first
"Rakshabandhan" after his marriage by taking a casual....!!!
He is rich in terms of number of girlfriends he still has. He is
hardworking (as u would expect him to be, managing so many girlfriends
and one wife, without any clashes requires hardwork. This is like rash
driving by truck driver without any hits and bumps). He works with PC
solutions Pvt Ltd.

MANU
MANU, another friend since school days. Was a cricket freak, but lost
interest after India was beaten in World Cup finals. He has his own
businees of garments. He is spreading his legs in Contruction also.
Lazy, sleepy and filthy is how I remember him. At present he is busy
surfing matrimonial sites for choice of suitable partner. His search
bore fruit and he found his life partner and and is blessed with baby
daughter.
